1. All cars must meet general safety requirements as per the IHRA rule book.
2. Sportsman class entries must be 7.40 or slower.
3. A Helmet is required for vehicles 9.00 or quicker
4. Deep staging is allowed but cannot be guaranteed. If deep staging, "DEEP" must be written on ALL FOUR windows.
5. Courtesy staging is in effect for ALL classes. Both cars must pre-stage before either stage. Tree is activated by auto-start.
Courtesy staging rule is in effect with the exception of a race in which there is a car marked DEEP, starter will not activate the tree until deep car has gone deep. Starter has the option of not enforcing this rule if the deep car is taking too long to go in deep.
6. Competition is limited to full bodied entries. IHRA Summit Super Series license is mandatory for eligibility to compete at the World Finals.
7. PROHIBITED devices:
* Automatic shifters unless OEM
* Data recorders
* Delay boxes
* Trans brakes
* Stutter boxes
* Throttle timers, staging controllers, and counters
* 4-wheel line locks (two-wheel permitted on non-drive wheels only)
* Starting line & two-step rev limiters (Single stage permitted (high side only, cannot be in use going down track)
* Any other rpm limiting device functioning as a down-track rpm controller
8. All switches and/or buttons must be standard mechanical connection type.
9. Throttle must be manually operated by the driver’s foot. Electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics or any other device may in no way effect the throttle operation. A fixed stop under carburetor or gas pedal IS permitted.
10. Open exhaust headers and racing slicks ARE permitted.
